About Grace Easteria

As a Conservation and Science Coordinator at Yayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara, I analyzed sea turtle landing data, addressed marine pollution, and managed waste characterization efforts, all while protecting vulnerable species and areas. Previously, I worked at South Pole as a Junior Project Coordinator, where I supported the development of carbon projects in Southeast Asia, focusing on the biodiversity aspect. I also worked at CarbonEthics as a Carbon Offset and Growth Manager, where I initiated and led mangrove conservation and restoration projects, securing multiple grants and awards for ocean restoration. I have a Master's degree in Coastal and Marine Resources Management from IPB, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from UGM. I have published two papers on shark utilization and mangrove rehabilitation in peer-reviewed journals. I have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and I am passionate about protecting and restoring coastal and marine ecosystems.
