About Grace Goatley

I am currently working as a Claim's Assistant for Sedgwick, where I manage the administrative side of worker's compensation insurance claims. My responsibilities include inventory management, claim management, setting up new claims, managing the claimant treatment process, and handling any billing issues involving providers or attorney's. I am also responsible for drafting all correspondence from adjusters, and reviewing claim notes on a regular basis. I draft and process state forms, and ensure that medical records are sent to the correct claimants, providers, and attorneys by the required state deadline. I train new employees, organize meetings, and perform basic HR functions when a new employee is hired. I create electronic claim's files to be sent to employers or attorney's, and I also maintain vendor relationships. I work with injured workers, and assist them in learning how the worker's compensation system operates. I have exceptional communication, problem solving, event planning, multitasking, and project management skills. I have experience in claim management, marketing, communication, event planning, human resources, customer service, sales, and public relations. I am currently working on a Master's in Human Resources at Colorado State University, and I hope to continue working with employees while gaining new skills along the way.
