About Grace Gorham

I think it's important to love what you do. That's why I have my eyes set on a career involving horses, writing, and working with people. As a recent graduate aspiring to work in the equine media field, I have already found ways to do what I love, such as creating my own equine blog. Through my blog, I produced written content that was published in national publications, conducted video interviews of professional riders, and obtained press passes to cover national equestrian events. I'm sure you're reading this and thinking,'Equine media? That's specific.' Not to worry, I know how to transfer the writing, social media, and various communications skills I've learned to other areas. I had a marketing internship for a CPA firm, which is much different than the equine industry! I am open to learning in any industry and am excited to explore different avenues in the communications field. I kept busy in college! I took communications classes, worked on the newspaper staff as Digital Director, collaborated with the Communications and Marketing team at RMC to help with the college's social media, volunteered as the social media manager for the RMC Eventing team, and worked at a private barn off campus taking care of horses. I am a quick learner who's eager to get started in a new career!
