About Grace Herbold

I grew up in Hallsville, Missouri and found a love for mathematics and teaching during my time there. I was part of many activities including band, drama, National Honors Society, Cross Country, and Gymnastics during high school. My hobbies include puzzles, travel, and creative arts. I feel I could connect with future students on their interests because of my extensive experience in many areas. My work experience includes coaching, guided tours, and baking. I coached at Show-me gymnastics for five years after competing in the sport for most of childhood. During school, I currently work as a tour guide for Missouri State University, and I work during breaks at Crumbl Cookie as a Shift Lead. From these jobs, I have gained and will continue to learn leadership, compassion, and accountability. I am currently studying abroad in Milan, Italy and am gaining incredible experiences while I am here. I will travel and learn about many different cultures while I am in Europe and am incredibly excited to bring back what I learn to apply to my teaching and everyday life. I am a quick learner and hard worker and will happily apply those qualities to my work and home life. I am a problem solver and can solve issues quickly and responsibly. I am exited to start a career in secondary mathematics teaching after college and am looking for internships during summer for the upcoming years.
