About Grace Hofmann

Currently, I am a student and teaching assistant in Colorado State University's Mathematics PhD program. I have a deep passion for science, interdisciplinary interaction, and education; thus, my ultimate goal is to continue my career as a STEM instructor at the college level. In May 2021, I earned Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Wake Forest University. Subsequently, in December 2022, I completed my Master of Science in Mathematics (with a research and course emphasis on Applied Mathematics) also at Wake Forest. During my time at Wake Forest, I served a total of four years as a mathematics teaching assistant, tutor, and mentor. Courses I helped instruct include Fundamental Algebra and Trigonometry, Calculus with Analytic Geometry Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra I, Ordinary Differential Equations, Introduction to Linear Algebra and Differential Equations, Complex Analysis, and Introduction to Mathematical Modeling. During the 2023-2024 Academic Year, I was a member of the Science Department at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School. Courses I instructed include Honors Biology and Advanced Placement (AP) Biology.
