About Grace Holbourn

My main interest is in engineering design, however through my education I have broadened my range of knowledge across different areas in engineering, mainly including CAD design, product design, and briefly venturing into mechanical and electrical. My love for design heightened throughout secondary school and into college, where I decided to pursue it further through university. Throughout university I have further learnt about my passion for CAD design, and wish to start my career after graduating through pursuing roles in the design industry and continually gaining industry experience. My work at tides cafe over the last 4 years had taught me many skills, especially in the last year where I have gained the role of team supervisor, advancing my knowledge of people/team management, cash management, customer service and relations and most especially the importance of team work. I have been committed to volunteer work for years, through UK girlguiding where I have worked my way up to leader in training.
