About Grace Hope

My clear, empathetic communication skills and dedication to peaceful conflict resolution have been key in my organizing. I enjoy the way my unique set of life experiences come together in grassroots community organizing, and I am focused on developing clear pathways for climate advocates to engage in community-based action and develop the long term organizing skills and competencies needed for making social change. I am also a stage performer, musician, and artist; a molecular and cellular biologist and researcher; and have served as a climate policy advocate with roles in both local government and community organizing spaces. I thrive on helping others connect the dots on the climate crisis and move into action and advocacy with justice at its core, no matter what their background or experience is, because I believe that all people need the opportunity to respond to the climate crisis with action in a good way. With a commitment to learning as a core value, I also seek to model the learning process of moving from activist and mobilizer to the skills of a long term community organizer for social change and justice. I am inspired by solid event facilitation and design, equitable volunteer engagement projects, strategic campaign design, and thoughtful and equitable digital organizing strategies.
