About Grace Jiang
Grace is pursuing a B.S.H. in Bioengineering and Minor in Psychology at Stanford University. She hopes to employ technical skills in biology, materials science, and engineering to enhance global health. Grace previously conducted wet-lab research in Environmental Engineering, investigating the degradation of halogenated groundwater contaminants using electrochemistry. Her later research in Materials Science & Engineering focused on designing injectable biomaterials for drug delivery applications. Recently, she started exploring the use of biomaterials for neural recovery in stroke patients at Stanford Medicine. Outside of her studies and research, Grace is passionate about science communication and broadening STEM outreach, mentorship, and accessibility.
