About Grace Johnson

I am Grace Johnson, a driven student athlete at Florida Gulf Coast University pursuing my MS - Accounting. I intend to work towards sitting for the CPA exam upon graduation. My career in track and cross country has been a motivating factor for me throughout the years and has helped me build certain skills such as leadership, time management, perseverance, problem solving, communication, and the ability to work well and work with others. In high school, I took multiple AP courses, received multiple student-athlete based scholarship awards, and graduated with a weighted 4.3 GPA. I frequently volunteered at middle school track meets and basketball tournaments, in addition to aiding in the organization of a local opera performance and decorated bowls in contribution to Empty Bowls of Naples so that they may be sold in support of feeding the food insecure in Collier County. Over the past 4 years I have worked in the family business as an assistant to my father, the head CPA and owner. This work has given me insight into the business world and an understanding of accounting that has aided me in my studies at USF.
