About Grace Kohring

I am a physical therapist assistant with just around 2 years of experience, with most of that being in the inpatient rehabilitation setting. I have a passion for acute care and for treating those with neurological diagnoses which was an unexpected turn for me as I originally got into physical therapy with the expectation I would be working in an outpatient sports rehabilitation setting. However, during my last clinical rotation, I absolutely fell in love with the inpatient rehabilitation setting and haven't looked back since. I am currently employed at The Rehabilitation Insititute of Southern Illinois treating a variety of diagnoses in the inpatient rehabilitation setting. I am also employed as a lab instructor for the physical therapist assistant program out of Southwestern Illinois College, the community college from which I graduated.
