About Grace Lee

I am currently post-graduate working to apply for Medical Schools. I am trying to get the most healthcare experiences as possible. I have experiences in multiple different fields, from office work to medical to laboratory. Through working in a medical office, I've learned to interact with patients and doctors. Being in a medical environment, I am familiar with common medications and medical procedures. From working as chemistry tutor, I am more familiar with chemical techniques in lab. My knowledge of chemistry is more solidified. I am sure that all the skills I have learned from each field will benefit me from learning and adjusting to any new environment. In the chemistry lab classes, I've learned the following techniques: TLC, Column chromatography, recrystallization, distillation, extractions, and multi-step synthesis. In the molecular biology lab classes, I've learned the following techniques: dissection, PCR, electrophoresis, Southern Blot analysis, protein transformation, DNA barcoding, and ELISA.
