About Grace Mark
I obtained my MSW in pursuit of making healing-centered mental healthcare accessible to my community. My therapeutic interests include identity exploration, relationship concerns, life transitions, anxiety, stress management, activist and organizer burnout, self-compassion, family of origin challenges, trauma, loss, and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. I aim to work collaboratively with clients utilizing culturally resonant anti-oppressive practices to address strengths, goals and challenges while acknowledging how institutions and social structures impact people’s lives. I help clients imagine what fulfillment looks like in their lives through harmony with different parts of themselves, others, and their communities. I utilize an eclectic relational approach to best meet client needs, drawing primarily from psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, anti-oppressive, parts-oriented, and somatic modalities. I am committed to engaging in community organizing and advocacy outside of direct client work, and aim to center creativity and love as tools of resistance in this work.
