As General Manager of Health Services at St John Ambulance Queensland, I lead the delivery and oversight of key health programs including Youth, Event Health Services, and Ophthalmic Services. My role blends strategic planning with hands-on operational leadership, ensuring our services remain responsive to community needs and aligned with the organisation’s Vision and Mission. With a background spanning healthcare administration, project management, operations, and events planning, I bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to leadership. I’ve managed a wide range of complex programs and initiatives from large-scale health events and regional outreach clinics to volunteer coordination frameworks and clinical service planning. This varied experience helps me navigate competing priorities, build cross-functional teams, and deliver outcomes that are both high quality and community centred. I am particularly committed to embedding best practice in volunteer involvement, ensuring our volunteers are supported, recognised, and working within a clear and professional framework. Guided by national standards, I work to create systems that empower volunteers to thrive while also maintaining safe, effective service delivery.
