About Grace Musilli

I am a passionate graduate student at American University in the Masters of Education Policy and Leadership program with the School of Education. I recently graduated magna cum laude from American University's School of Public Affairs with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government. I was in the Politics, Policy, and Law Three Year Scholars program and the School of Public Affairs (SPA) Leadership program. I am currently a Research Fellow in the Collective Bargaining department at the American Federation of Teachers. I am helping to develop and standardize a collective bargaining database which holds information on previously negotiated AFT contracts in an effort to advance AFT's position in advancing and strengthening benefits for all members. I have educational and applied experience in research, writing, analysis, and leadership. I am passionate about education and education justice and have knowledge about healthcare and various labor and workforce issues.
