About Grace Nixon

I am in my third year at University of San Diego. I am a declared accounting and finance major with specific interests in corporate finance, auditing, and M&A. I am on track to graduate with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance coupled with a Bachelors of Accountancy in May of 2026 with CPA eligibility. I am looking to join and gain experience from companies who are innovative, collaborative, and overall pushing the envelope in a constantly changing market. I competed in the Fowler Business Concept Challenge at University of San Diego as a semi-finalist. My entrepreneurial pitch idea, PLASTIKOS, was based off creating a circular economy of type #1 plastic using new innovative bacterial technology. I am the Academic chair of the Associate Student Budget Committee. I represent over 60+ clubs on the committee. As a committee, we hear presentations and vote on funding allocation every week. We are focused on allocating the in funding in an equitable way across undergraduate student organizations as well as adhering to university guidelines. I was the Fundraising Chair, Vice President of Pledge Education, and currently the Senior Vice President for Delta Sigma Pi - a foremost business fraternity. I planned and executed a very successful Pie a Brother event. The event raised over $500 in funds for the fraternity. I have planned and executed 15+ events for up to 120 people successfully throughout my tenure on the executive board. I was a tutor at the University of San Diego for Support Student Services in the Spring semester in 2024. I specialized in accounting and business analytics.
