About Grace Ogihara

Through taking on diverse career experiences and service positions, I discovered an internal hunger to give voice to unheard narratives and to tell stories of our shared humanity, which intensified my search for purposeful, mission-driven work. As a creative thinker, designer and writer who is constantly challenging myself to grow, I am dedicated to creating social change through visual and written communications. Let me explain. Input: I am inquisitive and find many things interesting. My curiosity drives me to research and collect data. This strength helps me make better decisions, maintain an understanding of new tools and technologies, and organizing assets for quick and easy retrieval. Connectedness: I believe things happen for a reason. I am an individual, but also part of a collective. I am considerate, caring, and accepting. I am a bridge builder for people of different cultures and ethnicities. Adaptability: I live in the moment and embrace change when it occurs. I thrive on performing multiple roles within an organization and supporting others when a need arises. Learner: I love to learn. I am constantly seeking opportunities to improve myself and add new skills. Over the past couple years, I have taught myself how to use InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Hootsuite. Intellection: I am both a creative and critical thinker. I am energized by the thinking process and love to build relationships with "big thinkers" and thought leaders.
