A New Theory of Literary Gracefulness' is a book that was first developed as a master's thesis and the dream I had of writing a literary theory designed my courses and research endeavors throughout graduate school. The idea began during studies while earning the B.A. in English Literature and the essays and research from that time period is in a book called 'A New Reality Along The Way; Critical Essays.' My first collection of works focuses on different audiences and age groups, as well as different genres. The Atlantis Collection has illustrated mythologies, fables, and ballads for children,'Mythology and Fables of the Children of Atlantis, Volume 1' is intended for any age reader. The 'Children of Atlantis Chapter Series' is for readers in elementary school or beyond. As an advanced reader myself in elementary school, I did create this series with a desire to enhance vocabulary and introduce metaphors, because it is something I would have greatly appreciated in about 3rd grade! The trilogy 'The Atlantsi' Is For Adults, and it has three books full of action as I tried to combine what I knew about the first ancient Greek plays and modernize the story about ancient people into a novel. The purpose of the collection is to entertain, of course! but it is also something I use to teach and explain conceptualizations about what kinds of literature are appropriate for which age groups. There is more to do in the collection and I also plan on creating more collections about completely different topics, the sky is the limit! What I do for work now? Whilst recovering from a disability experience or illness during the end of the pandemic I created these books and collections! I have returned to substitute teaching now that the pandemic is coming to end! Just re-started and I'm so excited to see how our students are doing! In the spring of 2023, the non-profit Gracefully Artistic by Design, Inc. charity has just begun! This is about providing materials and resources for the disabled and others in shelters (such as the homeless and refugees) with help from their caregivers. Participants fill out a dream wish list for a performance or creative project they wish to make. It could be painting, music, sculpture, drama! Pretty much anything in the arts! The mission is to empower people and provide an equal opportunity for every member of our society, and in humanity, to create & have a voice, and also to leave behind a history of those creations. Because it is through the arts that civilizations are remembered!
