About Grace Peavy
Hello! My name is Grace and I am a student at the University of Georgia. In August, I will be graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Behaviors with an emphasis in Health Promotion. I plan to apply to medical school after graduation and a gap year (or two) with a plan to work in rural health, where I can go back and support the community that I grew up in. I have spent my time at UGA volunteering with countless organizations including the UGA Period Project where I collected supplies, as well as holding leadership positions in my greek organization planning and coordinating community service projects. I have also volunteered and shadowed in many rural medical centers in my hometown, while in college, in order to better learn about the barriers that face my community regarding access to healthcare.
