About Grace Petrarca

From a young age, anything I could get hands on, I had to take apart, plagued by needing to understand how things worked. From my brothers Legos to the lock on my Mothers jewelry box, nothing was safe! The sciences then became a more productive means for my deconstructive curiosity when I discovered at eleven years old, after visiting The Museum of Natural History, that people, like scientists, get to take things apart and understand them for a living! As an undergraduate in the Greater Boston area, I am inspired by the ways people take problems, concepts and the like apart to help put communities and lives back together every day. I hope to explore all Boston has to offer during my time here and gain as much experience as I can in understanding the STEM community and where my passions for taking things apart take me.
