I have been working for The London Printing company for just over a year now. Working with them I have gained new skills and techniques, working with different media’s, designing and producing products such as mugs, T-shirt’s, stickers, roller banners, day to day work such as helping customers with design work, printing, finishing jobs such as binding, scoring cards. Also helping / answering or giving quotes via email or phone. Working with The London Printing company I am more confident in the print finish and also with design worm and preparing print ready work. During my internship at The Guestlist Network as Graphic Designer creating their free monthly newspaper that was distributed around London, creating online banners and adverts for potential clients for the ad space on the paper. I also was responsible for the other designers in the team, delegating work to them. I worked as a Freelance Marketing and Design Assistant for the Theatre Royal Margate, a growing cultural organization, assisting on advertising and promotional campaigns, reaching over across the South East region to a potential reach of over people creating designs for advertising, large scale and direct mail campaigns to the theatre's current and potential customers. I have had a range of responsibilities including leading on Marketing and Digital campaigns. Key projects include: ·5 years experience, while studying, of working across print and digital mediums, for a Niche publisher specializing in commercially focused, faith based publications. ·Providing typesetting, layout and graphic cover design for 60 page paid -for publications delivered on a UK and International scale ·Designing leaflets, business cards and all corporate branding I have successfully completed a BA (HONS) Digital Media, gaining experience in market research, basic, budgeting, project management and Corporate Branding and Advertising. I have a working knowledge of programs such as: Clait plus Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Power point; Microsoft Word Adobe; Photoshop; Flash; Dreamweaver; Adobe Illustrator; and Adobe InDesign Director.I have strong management and communication skills. I keep aware of current web and print technologies and trends, and have a personal passion for imagery, born out of my personal interest in digital photography. I am young creative mind with a thirst to expand and develop skills in design to create innovative graphics. I am keen to continue my career within a dynamic and forward thinking team where my skills are utilized and challenged.
