About Grace Russell

As a Dean’s Fellow at Creighton University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, I bring a strong academic foundation and a passion for financial analysis. I’m eager to apply my knowledge in a dynamic professional setting, where I can continue to learn and contribute. Currently, I am serving as an intern with Tony D. Buda PC, assisting in the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns for small businesses and individual clients. In this role, I also support payroll processing, maintain organized financial records, and collaborate with senior accountants to ensure clients meet their tax obligations and deadlines. This hands-on experience has strengthened my skills in accounting software, financial reporting, and compliance. Now in my third year as an Engagement Center Representative, I represent Creighton University to alumni and some of its most generous donors. In this role, I’ve developed deep institutional knowledge, consistently ranked among the top three most productive representatives, and received recognition for highest donor acquisition in the most recent academic year. I bring a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit to all that I do. I enjoy working with people, approach challenges as opportunities to grow, and value clear, effective communication. Whether in team settings or individual projects, I strive to contribute meaningful insights, simplify complex ideas, and work toward shared goals with energy and professionalism.
