About Grace Schultz

I graduated with a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Indiana University-Purdue University. During that time, I served on the executive board of our masters program as the philanthropic chair where I was able to intersect learning and community service by facilitating physician assistant students involvement in the IU School of Medicine’s Student Outreach Clinic and Rock for Riley organization. Prior to that I completed a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology from Indiana University. During that time I worked with the Indiana University School or Rehabilitation Sciences as a Risk Management instructor and first responder. In these roles, I gained experience developing, as well as, leading large and small group discussions. As a student I completed clinical rotations in Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Community Medicine, Emergency Medicine, OB-GYN, Pediatrics, Thoracic Surgery, and Internal Medicine. For the last 6+ years I have worked as a physician assistant in Emergency Medicine where I have developed a strong, positive relationship with my emergency department coworkers and speciality consultants. I am proficient in lumbar puncture, incision and drainage, complex and simple laceration repair, dislocation and fracture reduction, knee and wrist arthrocentesis, dental blocks, splinting, nasogastric tube insertion, nasal packing, foreign body removal, intubation.
