About Grace Schumaker

As a case manager and visitation monitor at A New Way of Life Reentry Project, I support women who have been incarcerated and their families in rebuilding their lives and achieving their goals. I have a bachelor's degree in community health from Tufts University and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in social work from the University of Southern California. I have over four years of work experience in the fields of reentry services, developmental intervention, and mental health. I have developed skills in de-escalation, mental health first aid, and motivational interviewing, which I use to empower my clients and help them overcome their challenges. I am passionate about social justice, human rights, and community empowerment, and I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I serve.
