About Grace Scott

My name is Grace and I am LMFT therapist at The Counseling Collaborative! I have enjoyed having the opportunity to work with many women, hear their stories, and work along side them varying experiences. I received my M.S. in Couples and Family Therapy through Kansas State University, in addition to my B.S. in Human Development & Family Science as well as minors in Leadership and Conflict Analysis & Trauma Studies. I was so grateful to have the opportunity to work with many organizations on campus including the Office of Recruitment and Admissions as a student lead, Orientation and Enrollment program as a Wildcat Warm-up leader, the Staley School of Leadership Studies as a LEAD 212 class leader, and most recently at the Career Center as a graduate assistant and EDCEP 120 co-instructor. In relation to couples and family therapy, I have been grateful to study under wonderful professors that led courses on clinical theory, human sexuality and identity, trauma and abuse, child and family therapy and ethical guidelines. I feel grateful to have had the chance to apply these practices at two clinical sites, including the clinic on campus and the local high school. To further my education, I participated in an EMDRIA EMDR training experience and have enjoyed integrating this into my practices as well!
