About Grace Stamper

As of November 2019, I joined the team of creative individuals at Frabjous Fibers and Wonderland Yarns as a studio assistant. This position includes graphic design (catalogs, posters, swag for kits, etc.) and has grown to include hand-dyeing the Colorburst yarns listed on the website. Prior to that, I was employed with Dance Project Inc, in Greensboro NC, to assist with communications and development activities. I’m also continuing to develop my fiber arts company (Pastiche Artisans). After four years as a front page/travel/home and garden and infographic designer for The Villages Daily Sun in The Villages, FL, this is a new and thrilling adventure for me. Possess more than five years experience with newspaper design and layout, writing and editing; as well as three years of photography and employee management. News page design and layout of newspaper pages consist of both conceptual and template-based layouts. Work examples can be seen at newspagedesigner.com. Specialties: Mac and PC operating systems, photography, interviewing, graphic design, news judgement, public relations, social media marketing, copy editing, writing, attention to details and ability to work independently and as a team. Consultations for resume and cover letters offered at reasonable rates. Resume, logo and other design projects also included in consultation services. Freelance design projects also accepted, project fees to be discussed based on work required.
