About Grace Tam

With 20 years of experience working and volunteering in non-profit organizations addressing empowerment and advancement of girls and women, I carry with me excellent skills in customer account management of membership based organizations which includes capacity building in governance and management, leadership, programme design and delivery for youth and adults and overall organizational development. Other areas of work that I had experience include communications, advocacy, strategic partnership, project management including managing budgeting and finances, procurement and resource mobilization. I also have extensive knowledge and understanding of culture and ways of work in the Asia Pacific Region, having managed customer accounts for member organizations in the region and developing new member organizations for almost ten years. Working in local and international non-profit organizations had provided me opportunities to collaborate with different stakeholders in a cross-cultural environment including government agencies, corporate, other non-profit organizations, high net worth individuals and local communities. I also have experience engaging senior government officials and royalties in strategic meetings.In a more recent role, I am engaged in preparing fundrasing bids, supporting stakeholders to input into the funding proposals and negotiating with potential donors to develop new partnerships for the organization. Also engaged and interested in safeguarding, DEI and meaningful youth participation.
