About Grace Tildsley

Since leaving the education system, I have worked in a varying of fields; from Retail, the Property Sector, and recently working for the largest Transport and Logistics company, DSV - Transport and Logistics. My current role bases me in the Finical Services Sector, helping streamline a functioning HR Department for DR & P Insurance Brokers; where all things HR was dealt with via a third party consultancy firm. I have had the privilege of gaining temporary and fixed term roles, in order to further pursue another passion of mine, being travel and child development. Whilst some people may see working temporary, fixed term roles as 'flakey' and 'uncommitted', I believe it shows me to be the opposite. It opens a wide variety of doors for me to be able to network, showcase my administrative skills, and lend a hand where needed. I prize myself on being personable, and knowing I can easily fit in most places. When in the UK, I focus and hone my skills in administrative, office based roles. I have nearly 3 years of experience in a HR focused role, with that being written statements and contract management, focusing on the entire employee lifecycle from head hunting candidates, to interviewing, to onboarding, to exit interviews. In my most recent role at DSV, recruitment became a big part of my day-to-day work, and I helped bring down agency and recruitment fee's by £75k+ by personally headhunting potential candidates on LinkedIn Recruiter. Whilst now at DR & P, my role is heavily focused on helping to drive and stream processes across the Group; whether it be policy reviewing, assisting with the various TUPEs we have in place & helping define a candidate positive recruitment experience. The other positive side of gaining temporary contracts, is the luxury of being able to return to my summer home, Camp Weequahic, in Pennsylvania USA. My first year being 2023, I taught theatre, and helped children gain the confidence to speak publicly, and exercise their passion for fashion design, and acting. The past two summers of 2024, and 2025, I have been honoured to work as a Division Head, which consists of overlooking an entire age group of children, and the counsellors who care for them. By resolving queries and issues raised by parents, campers, and management, I helped create a smooth working operation, and maintained high satisfaction levels. My role consisted of providing continuous, actionable feedback to team members, in order to further help them grow, and to create an emotionally safe and learning environment for the children they are working directly with.
