About Grace Weinrich

With dual degrees in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Philosophy from the University of Colorado Boulder, I bring an interdisciplinary approach to mental health and human resilience. Currently, I serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA Grief Support Development Coordinator at United General District 304, where I help design and implement a youth bereavement program, Rooted. This role has deepened my skills in program development, community collaboration, and public health outreach, while reinforcing my long-term goal of pursuing a Master’s in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. My background includes research experience with the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence and the Brain, Artificial Intelligence, and Child (BAIC) Center at CU Boulder, as well as independent disaster research through the NSF-funded Summer Scholars program at the University of Delaware. I also contribute to a meta-analysis on political misperceptions with Dr. Eli Finkel at Northwestern University. Across these experiences, I’ve developed a strong foundation in research, clinical insight, and community care, grounded in a commitment to advancing mental health equity.
