About Gracie Herbert

An experienced mission-focused customer service professional with a variety of experiences in nonprofit organizations, with recent experience in higher education. Gracie holds an undergraduate degree from Miami University's College of Creative Arts and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University Shreveport. Her nonprofit background began as Supply Store Manager at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts where she oversaw the daily operations of the retail store, curated the retail gallery with over 60 professional artists, assisted in national workshop programming and served as a front-facing staff member to assist in customer relations. Seeking opportunities to gain development experience, Gracie joined YWCA Knoxville as a Development Associate and was promoted within her first 90 days to Development Coordinator with more responsibilities and project oversight. Her experience in a small non-profit development office provided her with opportunities to process and acknowledge gifts, support major fundraising events both virtual and in person, oversee volunteer management and more. Along with working as a full-time professional, Gracie is a skilled arts and crafts professional. She works with pottery, weaving, and jewelry.
