About Gracy Go

I am currently working towards an MA degree at my home university, University of Guelph, as part of the Tri-University History Graduate program (Guelph, Waterloo, and Wilfred Laurier). My thesis will focus on the history of intersectional feminism in popular culture, specifically in the 1990s. My main focus is on Queer/Trans Women of Colour (QTWOC), their position in feminist movements of the decade, and if these movements were representative of marginalized groups of women (re: intersectionality). I graduated from the undergraduate History program at the University of Guelph in February 2022, and appeared on the Dean's Honours List in my last two years of study. I have worked as a research assistant under faculty at the university, involving preservation of archival and primary source material, particularly oral histories. I have worked on web design on both projects, which are linked under my Work Experience. I have software skills ranging from Microsoft Office, to programming languages such as Python and TEI/XML.
