First and foremost, I love working in the IT industry. Ever since I excitedly programmed BASIC code into TRS-80, I've carried that passion through to today with nearly 30 years of professional IT experience. While my roles have changed over the years from writing code, IT support, systems and networks to managing people, projects and strategy, these professional experiences have taught me the following. I can thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment- I excel being up to my elbows with projects and tasks, apply elbow grease here- Challenges motivate me, it spurs my creativity- I relish finding solutions to problems by asking the right questions- I usually make the correct decision, if not I own up to it- I remain calm and resilient under pressure. I can lead, mentor and grow teams to success - I realize that a team strengthens an individual and the individual strengthens the team- Being a leader is about doing the right things, then repeating them- I love to succeed, I love seeing my team succeed even more- I accept responsibilities of my team, the buck stops with me. I can say this about myself- I'm Friendly, Committed, Caring and Real, these are principles I live by- At heart, I'm always customer focused- I am humble enough to always look to improve.
