About Graeme Cox

Over a decade of leadership experience managing software and systems development projects to meet customer needs. Specialties include collaborating with customers, building high performing distributed teams, and driving challenging engineering projects from inception through volume production. I have lived and worked in Vancouver (BC), Seattle and Silicon Valley, and projects have been typically distributed with software engineers and customers in India, Korea, China, and across the US. Technical Skills: • Mobile and desktop app and web development, multiprocess and multithreaded server development, and kernel, device driver, and embedded software development. • Application and kernel development under Linux, iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, embedded and real-time operating systems. Linux, ChromeOS, and Windows system administration. • Expertise at all layers of the network stack with experience including 802.11 Wi-Fi implementation, IP/DHCP/UDP/TCP, HTTP/HTTPS, through to VoIP and video transmission and application-level distributed architecture. Security experience includes 802.1X, EAP, WPA, HTTPS, and working with openssl and digital certificates. • Database experience ranging from embedded system implementations and NoSQL systems through to MySQL and PostgreSQL servers.
