As the Director of Zoo Operations at Jersey Zoo, I oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of one of the world's most respected zoos and conservation organizations. With more than 15 years of experience in zoo management, I am passionate about ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, care, and husbandry, as well as enhancing the guest experience, education, and engagement. I have successfully led and managed large multicultural teams, projects, and budgets across Europe, the UK, and the Middle East, delivering on the mission and vision of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. Some of my achievements include improving the zoo's accreditation and licensing, increasing the zoo's revenue and visitor numbers, implementing new veterinary and enclosure protocols, and supporting various fundraising and field conservation initiatives. I am always looking for new opportunities to learn, collaborate, and innovate in the field of zoo operations and conservation.
