I am a software engineering leader. My expertise lies in motivating, mentoring and empowering teams (local and global) to excel. I'm hands-on, with experience in multiple technology stacks, products and industries. As a generalist, I can pivot to create solutions in multiple problem spaces, and I'm metrics and results orientated. I firmly believe that when I bring in or train individuals to be self-motivated, empowered and habitually collaborative, a powerful and passionate team emerges that can signficantly advance the company's goals. I have worked on console games, PC games, MMORPG's,(including the acclaimed EverQuest and H1Z1 video games), web development (Java/Spring/springboot/Tomcat, with Kotlin, jQuery/Backbone/Bootstrap, React, and LAMP/PHP/Symfony), MVC, HTML, CSS, client-server architecture in C++, database development (Oracle, MySql, PostgreSQL, Cassandra), API design/maintenance/integration, QA automation, authorization systems, billing systems, ticketing systems, and other high transaction environments.
