I am the Managing Director of SevenC with 17 years experience in IT managed services. SevenC has over 550 clients from across the continent, offering a range of IT services and products with a primary focus on organisations with 50 to 200 users. Our goal is to protect our client’s IT infrastructure and security, work with them to manage costs, provide expert advice given the rapid developments in IT and as their businesses change, help build in flexibility and improvements all while partnering with the leaders in the industry to ensure their ability to work uninterrupted, across their business, 24/7. My expertise spans strong technical acumen, project management, and extensive knowledge in Linux systems engineering. Throughout my tenure at SevenC Computing (Pty) Ltd and its subsidiaries, I have provided strategic leadership, ensuring alignment with the company's financial vision, mission, and long-term goals. I have driven operational efficiency and automation initiatives, implemented comprehensive strategies, and upheld rigorous adherence to company policies and procedures. My commitment to excellence is reflected in my oversight of monthly billing, collection cycles, and my proactive approach to enhancing team performance through coaching, training, and mentoring. I am dedicated to improving technical support metrics and fostering continuous professional development through targeted training programs for our technical services team. I’ve had a lifelong passion for IT resulting in my Diploma in Information Systems which I passed with distinction. I joined SevenC in 2009 as a Linux Systems Engineer before being promoted to Technical Engineer. I embarked on a BComm qualification which I earned in 2019, and in that same year was appointed Managing Director of SevenC. I’m a keen endurance athlete having completed four comrades, 15+ marathons and ultra marathons and a 200km Double Century Bike Race (2022).
