Engineering: • Over 40 years of experience as a mechanical/piping design draftsperson with experience in workshop support, mobile and fixed plant equipment modifations, structural and civil drafting, brownfield plant modifications right through to greenfields plant design. • Competent in: Developing plant mechanical/piping 2D layouts and 3D models in PDS and PlantSpace for client review. Designing modifications to piping systems, mechanical equipment, Calciner and refractory systems, mobile equipment and mining fixed plant including mills, crushers and conveyors. • Within the Engineering Alumina Industry: Competent in: Plant layout and designs for refinery process piping systems; cyclones and gravity piping systems; steam piping; pumping systems design and yard piping. Heat exchange process design: flash vessels; shell and tube heaters; barometric and surface condensers. • Other mechanical/piping experience includes: chemical plant process piping design; underground water transport pumping and piping systems; nickel refinery process piping systems; rare earth process piping and Oil and Gas pipe racks and pipe supports.
