About Gralen Brown

I am currently working as a Propulsion Tech. at SpaceX in the prop tanks dept. We assemble tanks for the Dragon capsule. I work in the screen cell where I perform such task as but not limited to Class 2 and 5 cleaning on titatanium piece parts prior to tacking and resistant seam welding the assemblies together so that they can be laser welded. I also perform bubble point test on the screens to ensure that the break point is to spec. Prior to working in prop tanks I worked in ETCS dept where I learned pressure testing, flow testing, and vacuum testing of multiple valves and components following their assembly. Upon my entry at SpaceX I worked on the Precision Clean Line where I learned to clean components to level 100 cleanliness and verify by such means as particle and NVR verification. After a year I was promoted to Lead Tech. I love learning new things and I am a very fast learner that loves to conquer challenging tasks.
