About Grama Pradeep

As a Partner of SVP Philanthropy Foundation, India, am currently volunteering work with credible NGOs. Also am a Member of the Management Committee of BHS Education Society, one of the Premier Institutions of Education in Bangalore. I am also an Investor and a Board Member of Basil Communications Pvt. Ltd, a global creative services production studio. I was instrumental in setting up SPAN in 1993. I believe in bringing standards of excellence in everything that SPAN does. Prior to SPAN, I was involved in starting the software export division of UBICS for the United Breweries Group, Bangalore, India. I provided global presence for UBICS during my tenure from 1988 to 1994. I started my career with Switching R&D of the Indian Telephone Industries (1976 to 1980) and then was with Tata Consultancy Services, Mumbai, India's premier information technology firm (1980 to 1986) and PSI Data Systems (1986 to 1988). My professional career includes diverse international work experience in the U.S, Australia, UK, middle east. Driven by my extensive experience of over 28 years in the IT industry, SPAN is constantly achieving greater heights in the global market. I have a Masters degree in Communication engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, considered to be among the top 20 universities in the world. Prior to that, I graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Mysore University. Specialties: Outsourcing/Offshoring software services in Communication and Networks and application software.
