About Grant Adkins

I am a Business Technology Analyst for UMKC. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Missouri Western State University and a Master of Business Administration from Baker University. I’ve held various positions in network and systems administration as well as systems analysis and design. After undergrad, I held the role of System Engineer with the Foreign System Interface team at Cerner Corporation, the role of Academic Labs Administrator for Missouri Western State University and the role of Systems Administrator for Sunflower House, Inc. in Shawnee, KS. In my spare time, I do freelance and contract technology consulting and support, freelance music composition and audio engineering, volunteering in the Kansas City community, and enjoy outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and biking."There's no way I can single–handedly save the world, or perhaps, even make a perceptible difference - but how ashamed I would be to let a day pass without making one more effort."- Isaac Asimov
