About Grant Barnum

Hi! my name is Grant and I've just finished my Bachelor's degree in International Studies and Spanish at the University of Central Missouri. I spent a semester abroad in 2019 in Spain where I cultivated my abilities as a Spanish speaker. Before I came back to school, I managed a music store with a lesson program of 30 teachers and 250 students. I'm an expert at networking, and I can offer professional writing skills as I was a regular contributor for Eleven Magazine. I am ESL certified, with two year's worth of experience in teaching English to adults. Recently I worked as a remote English teacher of children and teenagers, as well as substitute teaching in the Kansas City area. I work very well with diverse groups. Currently I am a benefits enrollment specialist with a company called Benefits Communication Insourcing. I'm here because I'm looking to build a future in global development, and I hope to find the perfect environment to apply my skill set.
