About Grant Bollman

I am a senior vice president with Lee & Associates of Illinois. I specialize in office space tenant representation in the Chicago metro area, with a geographic focus on the suburbs. I have established myself as an expert advisor to office users. I understand their unique occupancy struggles and how to navigate a complicated and highly inconsistent office market. I help them evaluate their own office utilization and advise on how much space is the right amount in hybrid or traditional work environments. I work diligently to develop long-term personal relationships with my clients as we implement the proper real estate strategy to save time and money. In the decision-making process, my knowledge of landlords, their creditworthiness and financial stability helps my clients maximize tenant improvement allowances, abatement packages, and other critical lease terms, which directly influence the space buildout and employee satisfaction. Tenants often have difficulty gaining and keeping leverage with landlords. I advocate for my clients not only when negotiating lease terms, but throughout the life of the lease when situations arise and unexpected costs get passed to the tenant. CAREER SUMMARY The launch of my career in office brokerage coincided with a devastating global pandemic, which rapidly altered office market dynamics for both landlords and tenants. I have completed more than 70 office transactions in that time which is a testament to my entrepreneurial spirit and genuine desire to help people. My efforts were rewarded in 2024 when I was promoted to my current role of senior vice president. Prior to joining Lee & Associates, I worked as a senior associate at Cawley Chicago. My primary focus was to establish and grow the office tenant representation practice in the East-West Corridor. Prior to Cawley, I worked as an associate at Savills. EDUCATION / AFFILIATIONS I graduated from Wheaton College (IL) in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics. I am also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Illinois and a member of the Commercial Real Estate Fellowship (CREF).
