With a 25-year military career behind me, I’ve navigated various career paths and ultimately discovered my true passion in maintenance. I thrive on the dynamic nature of the job—embracing the variety of tasks and the ever-changing landscape. Presently, I'm proud to be part of the innovative team at Zoo Events Group. In my diverse maintenance and manufacturing role, I support engineers at high-profile festivals and events across the UK, provide second-line support, and assist senior management with crucial responsibilities, such as electrical safety, COSHH, health and safety, risk assessments, business continuity, and compliance management. My dedication to keeping people safe and ensuring seamless operations fuels my commitment to excellence in every task. I’m driven by a passion for continuous learning, and in 2025, I’m set to enhance my skills further in health and safety and electrical upskilling. My goal is to achieve my Level 6 qualification in Health and Safety, thereby contributing even more effectively to the safety and success of the teams I work with.
