Background

About Grant Cobb

I am a recent graduate from the University of Louisville with a bachelors degree of science in education and human development, majoring in sport administration. I have always had a passion in sport and started my secondary education journey at Berea College, where I was a business major, with an accounting concentration. My decision to enroll at Berea was largely influenced due to a heavy recruitment to join the school’s baseball program. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was continually enrolled at Berea via an online format and finished all program requirements for a bachelors degree in business. I however, did not receive accreditation as I was lacking in perspective credits to satisfy the institution’s liberal art’s curriculum requirements. I decided to ultimately transfer to the University of Louisville when Berea College issued return policy for student athletes, and it was declared the school would not field a baseball program due to the lasting effects of COVID-19. Along the way, I have faced many obstacles, but I am now so proud to acknowledge my journey. During this long and trying experience I have overcome adversity in every sense. 165 credit hours and a bachelor’s degree later, I am one step closer to accomplishing my dreams.
