About Grant Escobar

I am Civil Engineer with a structural background that has managed and lead a wide portfolio of projects over the last few year for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. I have worked for both the Jacksonville and Louisville District and have assumed many different roles such as Project Manager, Project Engineer, Contracting Officer's Representative, Covid-19 Battle Captain, Emergency Management Liaison, and Program Manager Deputy. I have seen projects in their initial design phase all the way through to the project closeout and turnover phase. My experience also includes supporting emergency management teams and projects in support of the Hurricane Dorian Disaster Relief in 2019 in Florida as well as the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020 in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the USVI. I have worked with multiple different contractors on many different project types ranging from to dollars. From coastal beach resiliency and civil works projects to military construction and environmental projects, I have had the unique opportunity to be apart of many great teams that have accomplished some incredible projects for the states of Florida, Puerto Rico, and Kentucky. I am a licensed P.E. in the state of Florida currently as well as a certified PMP. Additionally, my LEED Green Associate Credential demonstrates that I have the knowledge and understanding of green building practices and principles needed to support sustainable and clean projects. My military career has also provided me many opportunities and experiences since graduating West Point that have refined many of the skills that I have today.
