About Grant Foreman

I graduated from Douglas Anderson School of the Arts high school in 2013 for musical performance on the French Horn. At Douglas Anderson, I earned a position in the top band, which was invited to play in the 2011 Midwest Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. I was also accepted into the Philharmonic Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra. Following high school, I traveled abroad to Beijing, China to intern with Sam Laterza ( http://bit.ly/1ebkcY3 ), studying the art of studio and landscape photography as well as mastering Adobe Lightroom 5.3 and the Adobe CS6 Suite for image post production and editing along with creating animations to be published as professional advertisements. Upon my return to the States, I enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville studying Business. While an employee at Battalion Airsoft Arena ( http://bit.ly/1cIdveR ), I gave public talks and provided instruction to groups on a regular basis. While at Battalion I directed, filmed, and edited promotional videos that were used by the company in their marketing and advertisement ( http://bit.ly/1histt6 ). I also served as the chief photographer for the company. Owning my own photography business ( http://bit.ly/1hq3vqH ) has also allowed me to better understand the application of economics, business acumen and time/resource management. From 2015-2021 I worked with Best Buy in many different capacities, from general sales, to inventory, to store leadership as a department supervisor. During this time I was also selected to join a very selective think-tank at the corporate level for three years in a row. I also worked with the Geek Squad in several roles, installing general home theater and A/V equipment, to very elaborate and custom whole-home integration systems, specifically Savant. I gained a wealth of knowledge with commercial/residential infrastructure as well as custom programming and networking with control systems. Currently, I am a Quality Control Engineer with Petticoat-Schmitt Civil Contractors. I hold several certifications for quality control as well as safety. I am very proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. I stay very up-to-date with technology in the forms of computers, tablets, smart phones and various types of software used in business, photography, cinematography and 3D animation.
