About Grant McLean

I am a highly motivated Business Analytics and Finance student at the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business, maintaining a 3.98 GPA and earning Dean’s List honors for three consecutive semesters. I am passionate about leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and deliver actionable insights. Currently, I am gaining valuable experience as a Baseball Analytics and Video Intern at Archbishop Moeller High School. In this role, I work with tools like Rapsodo, Blast, AWRE, and Synergy to support player evaluations, develop scouting reports, and visualize performance trends. Additionally, I contribute to video analysis and assist with managing content for the team’s analytics-focused social media platform. This summer, I will be joining Shepherd Material Science as an Information Systems Co-op, where I will further develop my skills in R and Excel. Outside of work and academics, I enjoy lifting, cooking, and fishing. I strive to bring value to every opportunity by combining analytical rigor with a commitment to continuous learning and development.
