About Grant Mosby

THE “NOT-FOR-LOSS” PHILOSOPHY"Not-for-Profit" is a tax status, not a business model. I operate with a "Not-for-Loss" mindset: commercial discipline deployed in service of mission. I turn the finance function into a predictive, strategic engine that drives mission growth. I believe fiscal stewardship is the ultimate act of advocacy, ensuring every dollar advances program impact.I oversee $49M+ operating budgets and lead Finance, Technology Strategy, Data, and Enterprise Risk. I translate financial complexity into strategic clarity for Boards and executive teams.WHAT I DELIVERRestored Integrity and Trust Converted qualified audit opinions to unqualified status within one year. Eliminated audit findings and built internal controls that restore reputation and unlock program funding.Strategic Asset ManagementDirected multi-entity financial oversight and $15M+ asset acquisitions. Implemented governance frameworks that protect assets and enable organizational scale.Predictive DecisionsDeployed ERP, Power BI, AI, and predictive modeling to elevate cash forecasting and investment strategy, enabling leaders to invest ahead of need and reduce operational volatility.High-Accountability TeamsTransformed siloed finance units into highly collaborative, cross-functional partners. Raised financial literacy across the organization and strengthened a data-driven culture. My philosophy is direct: I lead with a Business Mind, a Charity Heart, and a commitment to measurable impact.
