About Grant Odoherty

Possessing a strong work ethic and lofty goals for myself, I have always achieved high grades in all my classes. Even though people may describe me as having an introverted personality, I believe this allows me to be an exceptional listener and someone who is very perceptive in professional situations. With these skills, I was able to join Wall Street Scholars of Nebraska which is a club focused on learning about investment banking, private equity, and asset management positions through workshops and guest speakers. I have also been involved in my fraternity by becoming Scholarship Chair and being elected President. Through these involvement opportunities, I have learned how to function as a leader and a role model in large groups.Since I was young, I have always been enamored with how finances function in our society. By starting to take business classes and becoming involved in clubs and organizations, my interest has only grown as I have declared a major in Finance as well as a minor in Accounting. In addition, I have a strong interest in investment banking and private equity. I currently work at McCarthy Capital as a Private Equity Analyst Intern and am excited to continue taking upper-level finance and accounting classes.
