About Grant Odor

I am a graduate of the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. I received a degree in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Marketing. I have used my degree to pursue an opportunity to serve as Carrier Manager for Ryder Logistics working on the Devon Energy account downtown in the Devon Tower. This experience allowed me to engage face to face with existing and potential clients to find ways to best serve our supply chain strategies. Being able to connect with others and meet people where they are at is a skill I value most. Therefore, I strive to be apart of organizations that allow me to be personally impactful in the lives of others. During my time in school I interned for American Fidelity as a Customer Engagement Specialist that assisted in managing customers’ health insurance accounts. Prior to that, I’ve been a Small Group Leader for OU’s orientation camp, Camp Crimson, for 3 years serving as a mentor to incoming freshman. I have also served on OU’s “Howdy Week” event planning committee, in charge of contacting businesses, raising thousands of dollars for on-campus events, and coordinating the logistics of bringing those events to life. My post-college career has lead me to some amazing opportunities that I’m extremely grateful for. I worked with Ryder Logistics as a contracted Carrier Manager for Devon Energy overseeing the entire trucking fleet that moved oil equipment for Devon. I also did countless data analysis, built and lead large presentations to both Devon and our trucking fleet, and drove KPI for our account. I learned so much from this opportunity. I then took a break and then accepted a position at Paycom as an opportunity to gain experience as Dedicated Specialist in a fast pace Human Resources environment. This taught me how to thrive in an environment of multi tasking in a fast paced environment with an abundance of uncertainty and problem solving. My goal is to take all the experience I have in life and in relationship building to pair that with my passion for analytics and strategy optimization.
