Background
About Grant Olufson
An accountant by trade, Grant was presented a opportunity to buy a traditional sign lettering business over 25 years ago and since then, has grown it into a bonafide industry leader. AW Signs is a large-scale sign manufacturing business. Grant and his experienced team of 40+, solve signage problems for high-profile clients and projects such as Sydney Airport, Sydney Fish Markets, Sirius Apartments and the brand new Western Sydney Airport. The business has expanded into product development, with the recent launch of ENDURALOX®. This is ultra-high resolution precision printing into the sub-structure of aluminium panels. Made for Australian conditions, it's well on its way to becoming an industry leader in outdoor signage resilience. A former high-level Rugby player and keen paddler - the latter of which he currently competes in races all around the globe - Grant applies the lessons he’s learned in competitive sport to how he operates his business; leading a team of individuals with different skillsets to build a baseline of consistency and structure.
